This is an exciting new adventure for me and my family! I have always loved working with my hands be it with painting, building or crocheting I love it all! I've started this blog to be a history keeper of all my creations. I sell everything that I make on my website http://www.etsy.gensdesigns.com, there you can find the items and their purchase price.
I want all my creations to have a story or character. I like old vintage pieces and handmade items because, well, they aren't just thrown together. Most likely there was a source of inspiration and something that spawned the creativity. I want that to be seen and experienced with everything that I make.
The name 'Genesis Designs' was inspired by my daughter Genesis. She is my 3rd baby and she's a delight. Her name means 'New Beginning' and that's exactly the inspiration behind starting this site and blog. A new fresh beginning for myself and my family.
In the Genesis Design group you will find different lines of product. One of which is called 'AttyCakes'. This line is specifically geared towards the more whimsical/girly shopper. Lots of bright fun colors and exciting unique patterns! This collection is TONS of fun!
As I find inspiration and also as pieces are being created I will keep an account/record of these things. Just think how neat it will be to own a piece from our collection and know just what it was that inspired it and what the story was behind it. You can be a part of the journey!!!
